Mission

When I first started streaming back in 2013 the content creator landscape was far from what it looks like today. Before Twitch was bought by Amazon and YouTube was as mainstream as it is today. Back then more creators were streaming to connect, share, and all for fun. The idea that you could broadcast yourself playing a game you love and hang out with others who feel the same is what sold me on streaming. The only problem is I didn’t know how.

Today it’s easier than ever to get into the world of content creation. The reason behind that is because of people who loved and cared for this new form of media pushing it forward with tools, guides, and products designed to do one thing.

Empower The Creator

Once I learned how to stream with OBS I ran into my next big issue as a creator. Graphics. I would see all of these streaming having these cool overlays on their streams that would include their social handles, recent followers, and donations. Some had branding and alerts setup. I feel in love with this and wanted my own version of what all these other creators had. At the time I knew nothing about graphic design and had no money to hire someone to make anything for my silly little stream with 2 people watching. It was time to dive head first into graphic design. I downloaded free design software and started playing around. I continued to make my own stream graphics and growing my skills as a designer. I eventually got to the point where people were hiring me to create graphics, animations, and branding for their own streams.

After starting my company Vertex Creative I noticed that I had built up a decent size library of graphics I either no longer used or were graphics I was testing with. I created a page on the Vertex Creative website that hosted some of these for free. The site started to thrive with people coming in and downloading these very simple overlays. It struck me very quickly after adding the free to use page to the site that there are a lot more people out there looking for resources as a small creator.

On June 16, 2017 PixelPro.io came online. I wanted to create PixelPro for those creators that were like me. Needing graphics to make their content stand out but without having to spend crazy money. I’m proud to offer this service and support creators who are just starting out. If creating content is your passion and it makes you happy then you have my full support and encouragement. If you work with heart, passion, and good intentions then there is nothing that will stop you from being successful.
